Marvenea, I'm wishing you a happy birthday on your day. The years go by but we have such good memories from our high school years. Hope your years hold good memories and that you're making more. Take care. Send me a note or two sometime. I now live in Claremoroe, Ok. and just got back from making a trip to my birth birth in Minnesota. The ground is black and rich there where we go visit whereas yours is Red. The Mississippi R. flows through the land where I was born. I think it's so interesting about the land and water in each different state. I had saved some of both kinds through my travels. Joan

Hi Linda Remember good ole typing and shorthand which typing is on electrical/digital machines and telephone AND shorthand is no longer used. I still use mine every now and then for the fun of it. How have you been doing? After my husband passed away last JuIy, I now live in Claremore, Ok. with my sister, Gail and her husband, Wayne Norton. We had moved to Claremore in 2020 to an apt. and later, in with Gail so she could help me with my husband's medical needs. He had Parkinson's and bladder cancer. Our class reunion is Oct. 4 & 5th. Hope you can come and we can visit a little. Let Sue Rudenskiy or Gail Hunt Misch know.

I'd known Paul since Whittier 6th grade and his little antics already showed then.  During practice for our 6th grade graduation program, he and O'Die Royal made some comment and laughed and Miss Williams wasn't happy with that.  She said "quiet..  "Okay, O'Dwyer can make the comment of Yah, right at the end of the song, Dark Town Strutters Ball;  BUT NO ONE ELSE, JUST O'DWYER".  Boy, every one first was quiet, then everyone said "yaaaaaaaaaaa".  Muffeled laughter followed and Miss Williams didn't say a word.

Paul was a kind of guy who and would talk to everyone/anyone about any subject.  Always made one feel like they'd known each other a long time.  Paul's absence at our next reunion will be noticed by everyone.  God Bless his family and may Paul RIP.     Joan D.
